Tutoring is available for free online and face-to-face. We have professional and peer-assisted learning tutors as well as writing consultants available to help you. There are drop-in hours and appointment-based tutoring available. To make an appointment, visit TutorTrac. Note: You will find directions below on how to make an appointment and access tutoring online. Appointment-based tutoring sessions must be made 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel a session, please do so 24 hours in advance if possible, or contact your tutor asap.
Face-to-face tutoring is only available for select subjects. If you would like face-to-face tutoring, you will need to contact the tutor 48 hours in advance to inform him/her that you want the session to be in-person. If you do not request face-to-face, it will be assumed that your session will be online. Find out what tutors are available face-to-face and how to contact them. Your tutor will inform you what room to report to for the session. Please note that you must abide by the Flashes Safe Seven if participating in a face-to-face session.
Online tutoring is available via Blackboard Collaborate. As a Kent State Geauga and Twinsburg Academic Center student, you have access to our tutoring in your Blackboard account under the course called Geauga and TAC Tutoring. If you cannot find it in your account, please contact Brandie Blankenship at email@example.com.
